There
is a Sports Quiz Evening arranged for Sunday 12th February
2012 in the HTFC Clubhouse. Paul (Podge) Johnson is the
Quiz Master for the evening. The evenings entertainment
will begin at approx 7.00pm and entry is just £2 per
person. Participants will be arranged in either teams of
3 or 4 on the night. Please let your friends know about
this event and encourage them to come along for what promises
to be a great evenings entertainment.

Christmas
draw and darts competition 17-12-2011
A
very successful and entertaining evening was recently held at
the
clubhouse. First Team Manager Paul (Podge) Johnson is
pictured to your right thanking everyone who had contributed
in making the Christmas Draw and the evening a great success
prior to the Christmas draw taking place. You can find a
comprehensive list of prize winners at the bottom of the
report.
A
darts doubles knock out competition was held after the
Christmas draw had been completed. A draw was made to
decide who would partner who with players split into two
seperate groups one group comprising darts players and the
other group been obviously non darts players.
There
was some really tantalisingly close matches with some great
darts been thrown throughout. Dale Johnson who went on
to reach the final had a superb 180 in one of his legs only to
suddenly realize that he had only required 142! The
winning pairing was Craig Johnson and Paul (Podge)
Johnson. You can see a short video of Craig below
throwing the winning dart, although I must apologise for the
videos poor quality!
Finally
we would like to thank everyone who supported Horncastle Town
Football Club by buying a raffle ticket and helping to
make the raffle in aid of club funds a great success, thank
you again to you all!

There
is going to be a free bus service laid on for all supporters
wishing to attend the Challenge Cup Final which will be
departing the Wong at 4.00pm prompt.
If
you would like to take advantage of this free bus service
please inform Colin the club chairman or Pete Nagle to save
disapointment on the day. Please bring along your friend
and family and lets have a bumper turn out for the Town UTW!
There
is a Darts Night at Old Nicks this coming Friday, 4th February
in aid of club funds starting at 7.30pm Entry fee is just £2.
Max of 32 players of any ability. Everyone welcome. If you
fancy a throw from one of the best hockes around then please
come along.

This is a very important annual fundraising event for
Horncastle Town Football Club and once again it proved to be a
successful and enjoyable evening for the Football Club and also
all that attended.
