Another
strong display by town u14s losing a very close game 3-2 at HBW.
They battled well to come back from 2-0 down to level at 2-2 all,
then looked the better side to go on and win,but in the last
minute hbw grabbed the winner in a unsportsmanship way. well done
lads the win is only round the corner keep it up

Well
done town u14s, gaining another point away to second placed sutton
on sea in a 3-3 draw,with a few last min changes it was a great
team effort,well done lads.

Town
u14's lost in a tense game at home to navenby 3-2. This was
without a dout the best game the u14's have played so far, it wa a
good all round team effort and at times sum very good football
played. Hoping the lads take heart and go on strength to strength
and start moving up the league. great game today lads lets keep it
going.

Horncastle
Town U14 travelled to Mablethorpe looking for their first win of
the season but came away with nothing despite battling hard
throughout the match.
The
home side started the brighter forcing Town’s keeper Johnson
into a number of good saves. They eventually broke the deadlock
midway through the first half when a cross from the left was
neatly finished by the Mablethorpe striker. Their lead was
extended shortly after with a terrific strike from 18 yards. Town
could have pulled one back through Robinson but he put an
excellent chance wide. The home side completed the first half with
a lucky goal when a clearance from Johnson hit the Mablethorpe
attacker and ricocheted off into the back of the net.
In
the second half both teams created chances forcing the keepers
into action but it was the home side who scored when a mix up at
the back gave the Mablethorpe attacker an easy finish. Bruntlett
and Johnson both had good efforts late on but the home side
comfortably held on for all the points.

u14's went down 4-0 today away at Mablethorpe,with new signings
making there debut and putting in strong displays. With a bit more
team work and player availablty it wont be too long before the
first win. with no game now till november it means some hard work
to do in training. well done lads on a much better team effort and
thanks to parents for there support.

Horncastle
Town U14 first home game of the season ended with an assured
victory for the visitors as they ran out comfortable winners.
Both
teams started well creating chances and taking it in turn to hit
the woodwork but it was Sutton who opened the scoring when their
striker beat the off side trap to fire in from the left. Town
fought hard to get back in to the game with a Bruntlett effort
just being off target but Sutton started to dominate and extended
their lead with a header from a cross from the right. A near post
header from a corner and a lucky rebound from a clearance by
Johnson in goal left Town 0-4 down at half time.
Sutton
started the second half by quickly adding their 5th of
the game when they counter attacked quickly; scoring from the left
after the initial shot was saved by Johnson.
The home side pulled one back when a big kick from Johnson
beat the Sutton defence and was latched onto by Bruntlett who
scored from a tight angle. Town could have had a second when Tyas
had a good effort saved. Sutton added 3 more to their tally before
Bruntlett scored his second; again a big kick from Johnson beat
the Sutton defence allowing Bruntlett to easily beat the keeper.

u14s got their first point of the season in an end to end game
away to Spilsby alot of work to be done in getting back to
defend,but signs are there of a good passing side in the
making.goals came from three new signing ,Tristan Engligh, Alex
Lepley, James Bruntlett,and seasoned players Josh Stumpf and Jake
Johnson.
If
anyone knows of players wanting to play at this level please get
